Spessartine garnets, January birthstone. 1:12 or 1:24

Garnets occur in a wide variety of colours, and this is a cluster of gemmy bright orange garnets from Tongbei in China.  Collecting from this locality has been prohibited for a number of years, so there is no new supply of these gorgeous gemmy crystals coming onto the market.  Discreetly mounted on a black plastic base.  Garnet is a January birthstone.

5/16 inch (0.8 cm) wide, 5/16 inch (0.8 cm) deep and 3/8 inch (0.95 cm) tall.  I can see this working in 1:12 or 1:24 scales.
