Teddy bear & English woodland creatures chest with drawer, IGMA Fellow Karen Markland with Don Cnossen

A totally charming chest by Don Cnossen, covered in detailed painting and aging by IGMA Fellow Karen Markland.  A lovely blue trunk with a painting of a teddy bear reading to gathered English woodland creatures: a hedgehog, robin, two mice and a red squirrel.  Pink flowers and greenery adorn the drawer and the lid of the chest. It is signed by both artisans, dated 1989, and has a number 1, perhaps the first of this design by Karen.

Colour: on my computer the photos look more blue than the reality, which is a slightly duller blue with almost a touch of green.

3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm) wide, 1 5/8 inches (4.1 cm) deep and 2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) tall.
