Sofa, Betty Blankenfeld, IGMA Artisan

A gorgeous Empire style sofa upholstered in a rich damask, pattern matched and with carefully applied piping.  It is very nicely padded, so that it feels like it could be properly sat upon.  It is by Betty Blankenfeld, who achieved IGMA Artisan in 1990.  The piece is clearly signed and dated November 1988. 

7 inches (17.8 cm) wide, 2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) deep and just under 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm) tall.
