Fascinating grape agate from Sulawasi, Indonesia. The colour is totally natural and it also has a slight glimmer to it in the light. You can see why it is called what it is! If you look carefully at some of the photos you can see that where one of the spheres fractures it has a flat face to it and the colour is all the way through. Interestingly, this agate also occurs in green - purple and green grapes! This specimen is discreetly mounted on a silver coloured base.
9/16 inch (1.4 cm) at its widest, 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) tall.
