Francis Whittemore blue & clear glassware, sold individually

Your choice of three styles of Francis Whittemore blue and clear blown glassware.  Whittemore used actual coloured glass, where the colour is mixed throughout the glass rather than an applied surface coating, so occasionally there is a little inconsistency/swirling in the colours of the glass.  This isn't a flaw but a result of his technique.

Although none of the glassware is signed, these designs perfectly match those in Whittemore's catalogue, as does the perfection of the work.  Francis attained Fellow status with the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA).

Left, fluted glass candy dish or compote.  1/2 inch (1.3 cm) diameter, 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) tall

Centre, fluted glass candy dish or compote.  3/8 inch (0.95 cm) diameter, 5/8 inch (1.6 cm) tall.

Right, trumpet vase.  3/8 inch (0.95 cm) diameter, 13/16 inch (2.0 cm) tall.
