Folk art face jugs, Alex Meiklejohn. Sold individually

Folk art pottery face jugs were an American tradition from the early 19th century on, each one unique.  The glaze on the grey one does show some crazing.  These are by the late artisan Alex Meiklejohn.

Brown: 7/8 inch (2.2 cm) wide, 1 3/16 inches (3.0 cm) deep, 1 5/16 inches (3.3 cm) tall with cork.

Grey: Brown: 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide, 1 1/4 inches (3.2 cm) deep, 1 5/16 inches (3.3 cm) tall with cork.
