A natural ruby from Kashmir. Rubies form hexagonal crystals, sometimes elongated, and you can clearly see this with this specimen. The gem is discreetly glued to a black onyx base.
1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide, 3/8 inch (0.95 cm) deep and 5/16 inch (0.8 cm) tall.
