Arborescent magnesium, very sculptural

This specimen of arborescent (tree form) magnesium is very sculptural, reminding me of a feather or a flower spray. It is actually a manufacturing by-product but quite lovely. It is mounted in a cube of polished hematite.
1/4 inch (0.6 cm) wide, 3/16 inch (0.5 cm) deep, 15/16 inch (2.4 cm) tall.
