Troy Schmidt blush glazed pot, IGMA Fellow

A spherical form vase or pot with a blush glaze by Troy Schmidt of Red Dragon Pottery.  Troy tells me that the colour is a red copper based glaze that needs to be really thick to look red but works really well as a blush on white porcelain, as with this piece.  He hasn't used it on many miniatures.  Troy is an IGMA Fellow in Ceramics.  If you look really closely there is a little bit of crackling of the thicker glaze below the neck.

7/8 inch (2.2 cm) diameter, just over 3/4 inches (1.9 cm) tall.
