Fossil jaw fragments, complete with teeth!  The two on the left are from the Paleolagus genus, an extinct form of rabbit, and are from the Brule Formation in South Dakota, about 30 million years old.  The jaw on the right is from Leptomeryx, an extinct small deer-like ruminant and is from the White River Basin of Nebraska, about 35 - 40 million years old.  The rabbit jaws are on wooden bases, the Leptomeryx is on a black plastic support.

Left: 5/8 inch (1.6 cm) wide, 7/16 inch (1.1 cm) deep, 7/16 inch (1.1 cm) tall.

Middle: 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide, 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) deep, 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) tall.

Right: 7/8 inch (2.2 cm) wide, 3/8 inch (0.95 cm) deep, 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) tall.
