Watercolours after Potthast, by Amy Ramsey Walton. Sold individually

Two beautiful original watercolours of playing children by Amy Ramsey Walton from the 1990s.  Each is signed A. R. Walton on the bottom right of the painting and in full on the back.   The frames are gold painted wood, and the paintings are matted and protected by clear acrylic sheet.  

The two frames are very similar but the right one is very slightly larger and is a slightly darker gold colour.

Left: study of "Children Playing at the Seashore", Edward Potthast (1857 - 1927).  Dated 1996.  2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) wide, 2 inches (5.1 cm) tall.

Right: study copy of "Ring Around the Rosie" (mis-written by Amy as Posy rather than Rosie), Edward Potthast (1857 - 1927).  Dated 1995.  2 1/2 inches (6.4 cm) wide, 2 1/16 inches (5.2 cm).
