Detailed and colourful, these hand painted porcelain bird figurines are by artisan Carol Pongracic, from 1981.  Choose from an American goldfinch, a swan or a cardinal.  The swan is hollow so could be used for flowers.  Carol's work has a soft bisque finish rather than a high glaze.  Each one is clearly signed and dated.  

Goldfinch: 7/16 inch (1.1 cm) tall.

Swan: 5/8 inch (1.6 cm) tall.

Cardinal: 9/16 inch (1.4 cm) tall.
