An original painting by English artist Christopher Whitford, based on the 1855 portrait of Prince Albert by F. X. Winterhalter. The painting is signed CW on the front and in full on the back, along with Whitford's date of 1999. The frame is heavy metal, painted gold, although there are a few spots where the paint didn't fully take, shown in the last photo. The adhesive on the side tape on the back is drying up and coming loose but this can be an easy glue mend if you desire.
