Iron and trivet. Oversized?
$7.00
SKU: JMR30
A sad (from the old English for solid), flat or smoothing iron with its trivet. It may look a little large for 1:12 scale but in real life they might weigh up to 9 lbs. I think that this one is made from pewter, by John Ewer of Colonial Craftsman Pewter, probably in the 1970s. If you look carefully at the underside of the trivet there is a number and then just above the trivet hanging hole is an engraved ewer (pitcher) as John's mark.
Trivet is just under 1 inch (2.5 cm) long.
