Hot milk jug, Pete Acquisto, IGMA Fellow

An "ebony" handled sterling silver hot milk jug by Pete Acquisto.  The lid hinges open nicely.  Original by Richard Bayley, London , England, circa 1720.  It doesn't have its original box.

I have gently cleaned the jug with polish (not a chemical dip) and it has a nice light patina.
