Francis Whittemore pink glass basket, IGMA Fellow

A delicate pink glass basket with a clear handle.  Whittemore used actual coloured glass, where the colour is mixed throughout the glass rather than an applied surface coating, so occasionally there is a little inconsistency/swirling in the colours of the glass; a result of his technique rather than a flaw.
