Francis Whittemore glass teapot, 1:12, IGMA Fellow

A lovely pink hexagonal glass teapot by Francis Whittemore.  The lid is removeable, just held in place by some wax.  There is a little inconsistency to the glass colour of the handle, but Whittemore used actual coloured glass, where the colour is mixed throughout the glass rather than an applied surface coating, so some mixing variation isn't surprising.

Although none of the glassware is signed, these designs perfectly match those in Whittemore's catalogue, as does the perfection of the work.  Francis attained Fellow status with the International Guild of Miniature Artisans (IGMA).

7/8 inch (2.2 cm) spout to handle, 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) tall.
