Smilodon, aka sabre toothed tiger skeleton model

Sabre toothed tigers were not actually all that closely related to modern day cats.  Various forms of sabre toothed "cats" lived almost world wide from around 42 million years ago till around 10,000 years ago.  Smilodon in particular lived in the Americas from around 2.5 million years ago; many specimens have been found in the La Brea Tar Pits.  This miniature model is laser cut in the USA and meticulously assembled by me.
