Stunning Marie Friedman eggshell porcelain plate, 1988

This is a truly stunning plate!!  The porcelain is so fine that you can see the painted and gilded oriental peony design from the back of the plate with a little bit of backlighting!  Hand painted, gilded and signed MF 1988.  (I've kept a different one of these for myself, VBG!).
