A delicately coloured cluster of amethyst crystals, actually the top of a stalactite or stalagmite. There is a trace of reddish colouring at the base of some of the crystals too, which I believe is from iron. Discreetly attached to a white plastic base. Amethyst is a February birthstone.
7/8 inch (2.2 cm) wide, 9/16 inch (1.4 cm) and 3/4 inch (1.9 cm) tall.
